There are many ways you can contribute to continue helping our Library a wonderful and inviting place for the entire Falls Church community. These include:
Join our board!
Board Member Responsibilities Include:

Attend and actively participate in Board meetings to discuss strategy, policy, and governance. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 4 PM. Attendance is mandatory unless permission by the Board President is given in advance.

Serve on or coordinate committees or task forces focused on fundraising, outreach, or program development. Perform tasks related to these topics.

Support fundraising efforts and help develop the Foundation’s events.

Contribute expertise, experience, or connections that advance the Foundation’s mission.
The Foundation is especially seeking Board Members for the Webmaster and Secretary positions. All skills and experiences are welcome; applicants with backgrounds in committee leadership, fundraising, nonprofit management, web design and maintenance, social media, legal writing or contracts, volunteer coordination, and finance are strongly encouraged to apply. New Board Members are voted on and appointed by the current Board.

Volunteer at used book sales
The library's used book sales are held several weekends a year. Foundation volunteers help customers tally their books. This saves the library staff a lot of time, and they are very appreciative!
