(1947—2022)

Dr. Tongour lived in the City of Falls Church for at least 10 years, and used and loved our local library. ​As such, the MRSPL Foundation is one of the charities that she wished people to support in her memory “in lieu of flowers.” Join us in celebrating the life of this remarkable woman by reading her obituary here. In memory of Evangeline Skaff, who is celebrated every day by her parents and sisters, Ophelia, Serafina and Marguerite. The girls love regular trips to the library and exploring new stories; current favorites include Chu's Day at the Beach, Chrysanthemum, Pinkalicious, and Hush, Little Alien.
